# Digital Venue > Digital Venue is a European AI agent platform for the agents citizens and visitors meet: a voice-first AI agent grounded in the institution's own content, answering in any language. In production at Swedish municipal libraries via the global Axiell partnership, built for the whole municipality — citizen services, libraries, culture — and for venues and hospitality. Swedish-incorporated. EU-hosted on Scaleway (Paris, Amsterdam). On-premise option H2 2026. ## What Digital Venue is A public-facing AI agent — voice and text — for venues, institutions, and events. Visitors speak; the agent answers in their language, grounded in the venue's own catalogue or content. - **Not a ChatGPT wrapper.** Built on a domain-aware retrieval architecture: hybrid search (dense vector + BM25 + structured metadata), domain-specific lenses (MARC21, Iconclass, Dewey, sport metadata, archive taxonomies), and LLM re-ranking. - **Measured grounding:** 98.7% grounded answers across thousands of monthly conversations. Live measurement, not vendor benchmarks. - **Voice quality** close to the best Western models. Voice-clone your curator, tour guide, or stadium announcer with consent. - **Multilingual.** Speak in any language, answer in any language. - **EU-sovereign by architecture.** EU-only infrastructure on Scaleway (Paris, Amsterdam). No CLOUD Act exposure. Data stays in Europe by architecture, not by configuration. - **Fixed price.** Monthly or annual. No per-token billing. No per-minute voice fees. ## What Digital Venue is not - Not a desk copilot or internal-productivity AI for employees. Digital Venue is the half of AI that faces outward — the half visitors actually meet. - Not a generic RAG bolt-on. Not a PDF wrapper. ## Who it is for - Libraries (primary segment; delivered globally via Axiell, OEM integration in Quria). In production in Sweden; quotes under way in Sweden, Finland, Germany and France. - Municipalities and public sector: citizen services (medborgarservice), libraries, culture — see https://digitalvenue.ai/offentlig-sektor/ (Swedish: https://digitalvenue.ai/sv/offentlig-sektor/). Regions, hospitals and state agencies via the Enterprise track. - Museums, archives, venues, live events, tours (pilot stage; via Axiell for museums). - Hotels and hospitality. - Small businesses via self-signup (single-site hotels, clinics, studios, family shops). ## Pricing tiers Five tiers, fixed price, monthly or annual. The self-signup tiers (Explore, Starter, Launch) are currently in **pre-launch / coming soon** — the only way to get on is to book a 15-minute call with the founder (Erik Gullstrand) via https://cal.com/erik-gullstrand-jlji2t. Scale up and Enterprise are available now via the standard quote process. - **Explore** — Free. Self-serve TEACH sandbox, generous evaluation limit, all supported languages, email support, "Powered by Digital Venue" footer. - **Starter — €24.90/mo (249 kr/mo)** — For micro-businesses (yoga studios, single-room hotels, neighbourhood cafés). 1 agent, 3 hours of voice per month in any language, 100 text conversations per day, limited knowledge storage, standard UI, basic analytics, email support. - **Launch — €49/mo (499 kr/mo)** — For single-site venues, sport clubs, museums, exhibitions, events, tours. Up to 3 agents, 10 hours of voice per month in any language, 300 text conversations per day, large knowledge storage, adjustable UI / logo / fonts / colours, custom persona and voice, custom domains, multisite analytics. - **Scale up — quote** — For regional venues, sport leagues, hotel chains, museum groups, multi-event organisers. Everything in Launch plus unlimited agents, unlimited knowledge storage, unlimited conversations under fair use, hybrid search + domain lens, integration builder (email / CRM / invoicing direct or via MCP), agent management, Agent-to-Agent (A2A) APIs, custom LLM selection, fully customisable UI, no attribution, swarm testing, full analytics dashboard, priority email support. - **Enterprise — quote** — For municipalities, regions, hospitals, and enterprises with formal procurement. Everything in Scale up plus LOU-compliant procurement pack, DPA / SLA / security review, private cloud or on-premise option, Enterprise SLA, dedicated Customer Success Manager. Ramavtal-compatible. ## Reference customers - **Forum Libraries Nacka** — three-branch Swedish library network, runs Digital Venue in production as a digital librarian via the Axiell channel. - **Sundsvalls kommun** — Swedish municipality of 100,000 residents, paying customer since 2023, beginning on Digital Venue's earlier storytelling platform. - **Historiska museet** (Stockholm) — paid pilot: voice-first AI guide for the Viking exhibition. - **Tekniska museet** — paid pilot: multilingual voice tours of the Ågesta nuclear plant, ten languages, one QR code. ## Axiell partnership Axiell is the global leader for library and museum systems — 9,000 libraries and 4,000 museums in 60 countries. In April 2026, Axiell announced Digital Venue as their AI partner. First integration: Quria (library system), rolling out in Sweden, Germany and France — Sweden and Germany are Axiell's two largest markets. For all non-library/museum segments, Digital Venue sells direct. ## Enterprise and sovereignty For workloads that cannot leave the building — patient records, classified municipal files, corporate archives of unpublished engineering work — the full Digital Venue stack (voice, language, retrieval, agent runtime) runs on consumer hardware in a sealed environment. No data egress. No external API calls. No model weights phoning home. Commercial on-premise program opens H2 2026 for a small cohort of launch customers. ## Procurement timeline (enterprise track) - Self-signup: sandbox live in 15 minutes. - Direct enterprise without formal upphandling: faster than 12 weeks. - Kommun-shape buyer: realistic total 12–16 weeks from first call to live. - State agencies and institutions over the EU procurement threshold: longer. The scoping call (30–60 minutes with one of the founders) maps data sources, languages, deployment shape, and procurement constraints. ## Company - **Legal entity:** Swedish-incorporated (Digital Venue AB). - **Backed by:** the serial entrepreneurs behind Quickspin, Fantasma Games, and others. - **Founders:** Erik Gullstrand (CEO & co-founder). - **Contact:** hello@digitalvenue.ai ## Key pages - [Home](https://digitalvenue.ai/) — main site. - [Public sector / Offentlig sektor](https://digitalvenue.ai/offentlig-sektor/) — citizen-facing AI for the Swedish public sector (kommuner, regioner, statliga myndigheter); Swedish version at /sv/offentlig-sektor/. - [Libraries / Bibliotek](https://digitalvenue.ai/bibliotek/) — libraries are served through our partner Axiell; this page points to the Axiell relationship rather than a direct sales path. - [Start here](https://digitalvenue.ai/start/) — beginner-friendly explainer for small businesses new to AI agents (English / Swedish). - [Enterprise](https://digitalvenue.ai/enterprise) — public sector, larger institutions, on-premise. - [Training / Webbinarie](https://digitalvenue.ai/webinar/) — free 45-minute webinar, last Friday of every month at 13:00 CET, in Swedish, with English Q&A. ## Clickable agents (production, pilots and demos) - Forum Libraries Nacka (library, three branches, production): https://forumbiblioteken.alex2.digitalvenue.ai - Historiska Vikings (museum, voice-first, paid pilot): https://hit.alex.digitalvenue.ai/en - Tekniska Ågesta (museum, audio guide, paid pilot): https://agesta.speech.digitalvenue.ai/sv - Bora Bora resort (hospitality, demo): https://borabora.alex.digitalvenue.ai/en ## Languages The Digital Venue website is bilingual (English and Swedish) with a client-side toggle.
